Establishing And Perfecting Law System Of Corporate Social Responsibility In China

To solve the social and environmental problems brought by corporations'abusing rights, American scholars put forward the theory of corporate social responsibility in 20th century. Though the connotation of corporate social responsibility has not got an unified definition, the understanding of its content has tended to consistence: while corporations pursue maximum of shareholders'interest, they should bear relative responsibility for corporate stakeholders and society. After decade's argument and practice, the theory of corporate social responsibility has been recognized by more and more people. Implementation of corporate social responsibility has become an important criterion when appraising corporation performance. Form western countries'practice, we can see that bring corporate social responsibility into effect does more good than harm. Discussion on corporate social responsibility by west countries and international society has been going on.In this thesis introduction of corporate social responsibility and comment on its practice in western countries has been done. Standing on the position of sparking plug corporate social responsibility, I think pushing corporate social responsibility in China has its importance and social significance. Some suggestions on establishing and perfecting corporate social responsibility in China have been brought out from the view of conception,system and measures, basing on analyzing the problems we have to face when pushing corporate social responsibility and using modus operandi in western countries for reference. The conclusion of the thesis is that pushing corporate social responsibility in China will bring"double winning", benefiting for both corporate(shareholders') profit and social interest.
