A Researchi On International Protection Of Computer Software And Chineselaw

As the coming of knowledge economy, our society has welcomed an information era. The development of information and technology has especially promoted the advance of computer software technique, which is the fruit of human creative intelligence. And the protection of its copyright is already on the top of the list of knowledge copyright protection. At present, we have adapted laws in different areas such as copyright, patent, business secret in its protecting. However, theses laws have their defects as they are not specially made for computer software protection. This problem has aroused global attention and it has become a trend to make such a law.The establishment of the law is increasing necessary with its popularity in households' appliance. In China, the computer industry advances greatly regardless of its late starting, while the research and establishment of laws related still lack. Therefore, this paper focuses on the characteristics of computer software and its law protection. Hopefully, it will be of some help in making a computer software law.
