A New Try In Studying Zhou En-Lai Thought On The United Front

Zhou En-Lai is a prominent conductor and practitioner on the United Front in our communist party. His thought about the United Front, enriches the theories treasure-house of Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong's Thoughts. It is the valuable spiritual wealth of our party. At present, our country go into the critical period of building a well-off society in all-round way, and further research to Zhou En-Lai's United Front thought, is significant to achieve our country's important goal of the economic and social development, and to construct socialist harmonious society. This article analyses and combs on Zhou En-Lai's United Front thought by combination of its theories and practices, trying to provide theoretical support for the United Front task in the new period. This part generalizes completely its characteristics and summarizes its vivid characteristics, namely unified principles and flexibility, unified strategies and policies, and unified nationality and internationality. The fourth part is on the theoretical worth and realistic meaning of Zhou En-Lai's United Front thought. This part analyses the thought's significance from both angles of theory and reality, and further makes explicit the importance and necessity of study and investigation on Zhou En-Lai's United Front thought.
