Along with the accelerated progression of the ecnomic globalization and the impact of the new-liberalism in 1970's, both the BritainLabor Party (BLP) and the Australian Labor Party (ALP) began to confront the new international environment. At the same time, the domestic environments of these two party is being challenged. under this background, BLP and BLP need to transform themselves to apto the tenor of the social modernization. In this thesis, the author intend to analyse the progressions of the BLP and ALP'sreform since twenty century eighty years, and compare them on the similarities and differences characteristics and problems in the process of reform.There are three part in this thesis:In the first part, the author expounded the influence of the accelerated course of the ecnomic globalization and the impulsion of the new-liberalism in 1970's.At the same time, the author analysed the problems they have and the challenge they confront in there domestic environment.In the second part, the author summarize the reforms , which begun with 1983, of the two party and expoundedthe reforms in it's policies and structure from Kinnock-Smith to Blair,and the reforms in it's policies and structure from From Hawke-Keating till now.In the thrid part, the author analysed the sameness and difference and there characteristics from two aspects: buildup and readjustment of policies. At the same time, the author believe that there are some characteristics such as pragmatism, votism and innovation in there reforms. At the same time, the author analysed the problems in there reforms, for example: the bugs of party politics, the crisis of identity, and the losing of characteristics for losing of base lines.
