Study On Wilhelm Weitelin's Thought Of Harmonious Society

Wilhelm Weitelin [German] was a great socialist in the early 19th century.He made a fierce attack upon capitalist society in which there were many phenomena of inequality and disharmony,and also designed a blueprint of specifically future ideal society. His bringing forward harmonious society thought had incisive political and economical cause.In addition,west harmonious thought provided it with rich nourishment. The theoretic foundations of the ideological system he designed was Desire Theory and Progressive Law.He thought that future harmonious society ought to have such characteristics as following:wealth being shared commonly, cooperative work under unified administration, equal rights, freedom as its ideal, fine customs and moralities, everybody being economical habits,the harmonious administration to society.To realize harmonious society,it would be necessary to put some systems and measures into practice,such as:to cancel private ownership of property and restore the joint possession share of the landed estate,to cancel money (currency) and commodity,to abolish the rights of inheritance,to carry out Abilities Election, to distribute according to hours of work,to put the educational scheme into practice to join in Studying Army commonly,to cure the sickness and save the patient by philosophy. Weitelin's harmonious society is socialist one,which has such characteristics as opposing a marketplace in economy, autonomy in management,omnipotence in education,religion in culture and morality, stability and vulnerability in social order, etc.With the limitation of historical condition and his own knowledge,he didn't know the objective laws to construct harmonious society,but his thought of harmonious society has still great significance to China' s harmonious society's construction.
