When China entry into the 21^st centry, our country provide the builiding a socialist harmonious society under the influence of the globalization. But in this process,as the market economic system continuously improved,the continuous refrorm of the political system deepen, and the turbulent situation in the world; so there has been many new problems, we are facing many new challenges, we need to find the new ethical thingking which suited to China's national conditions and the trend of historical development. The humanitarian with its unique "liberty, equality, fraternity" has become the consensus of all mankind in the modern era, therefore facing the resolution of these issues,humanitarian provided us a new idea and a new theory.Humanitarian is one thought which from the Renaissance West, boom the Enlightenment Movement and affect the world. Its spirit becomed many people's values and pursuit. But because of the special situation of the modern China, in a very long period, humanitarian suffered numerous misunderstanding and censure. With the history of development and progress of the times, now humanitarian in China has renewed vitality. Under the new situation, there are many results which explore humanitarian and slcialist construction in the academia, it is a solution to the problem in the building of the harmonious society. So this paper try to find the systematic summary of humanitarian's necessity and important role in the process.In this paper, firstly it through the humanitarian connotations, the experience in China, as well as the relationship between Marxism and humanitarian reveals the true meaning of humanitarian and the course of development in our country. Secondly, it through the relationship between humanitarian and socialist harmonious society, from the scientific and development concept, the building of democratic politics, market economy and foster the values study the necessity of humanitarian advocating in the process of building a socialist harmonious society. Finally, it from the economic, political, ideological and social life explore humanitarian's important role in the process of building a socialist harmonious society.As a longstanding ideology, it affect all aspects of a society and a country, it not only changed the country's decision-making, but also changed the people's thinking and way of life.
