Environmental pollution is becoming increasingiy serious, making it impossible for original legal regulations to satisfy new requirements. By tracing back to the simple ancient view of nature, and introspecting into modem view of ecology, the article explores the relations between economic development and environment protection in developing and the function of the indispensable criminal law for protection environment and ecology. It also deals with ideas about reconstruction of environment criminal law to resolve the contradiction between human behavior, economic development and environment protection. The sole way of administratively regulating pollution and other source soft pollution is now beyond prevention and shows its deficiencies in environmental protection and improvement. But China, then, isn't advised to turn to strict responsibility of Anglo-American criminal laws in dealing with the crimes committee for the purpose of environment-protecting and pollutionremoving.This essay is divided into the following five parts with introduction of each. The first part mainly discusses the introduction of the value notion of Environment criminal law. The second part mainly discusses the promotion and development of the value notion of Environment criminal law.The third part mainly studies the disadvantages of the value notion of Environment criminal law. The fourth part mainly studies the content of the value notion of Environment criminal law. The fifth part mainly studies the implications of the value notion of Environment criminal law during the legislation. Through the study on the related issues of the value notion of Environment criminal law, the author hopes to get others' better opinions and therefore devotes some thing to the perfect legislation on the value notion of Environment criminal law.
