By the end of the Emperor Han Wen being the king, the West Han Dynasty has been resting and building up strength for over 30 years since Liu Bang beats Xiang Yu and seizes the political power. Although many of his political propositions haven't been adopted by the Emperor Han Wen, it is proved right by the following periods. He has made a great contribution to the Han Dynasty. Following Xunzi, his advocating the political thought of Using both Li and Legalism provides a political model for the following rulers of Chinese society. His thought stresses the content of Confucian and has its own perfect system.His thought make effect of transition which is "from ruling country naturally to actively" and "from setting up thought disorderly to orderly" in the Han Dynasty. His efforts of stressing Confucian and blending all kinds of thought point out direction for Dong Zhongshu. In this sense,Jia Yi's thought is a key link in the course of "all kinds of thought blending to Confucian becoming dominant thought" in social thought. Jia Yi's thought has important position in Chinese thought history.
