The Middle East issue has been one of the focuses of international politics with thePalestine-Israel conflict lying at its core. Many causes led to the Palestine-Israelconflict, the nature of which is the scramble for territory and national interest between theArabs and Israelis. in addition to factors such as national conflict, religious factor, territorydispate, the big powers' factor is also one of the main roots that caused the long existenceof Palestine-Israel issue. The ancestors of both the Israeli and Arabs once all lived in the Palestinian area.Thisarea once was manipulated and ruled at different periods by different empires such as theEgyptian, the Babylonian, the Roman and the Ottoman Empire. Since modern times, thisarea has become the forefront where the European powers like Britain, France, andGermany scramble for their interests in the Middle East.It is safe to say that the origin of the Palestine-Israel conflict is the result of theinterest conflicts among big powers. After the World Warâ… , the British government'spolicy of divide and rule in this area was the main cause that led to the conflict. After theWorld Warâ…¡, under the manipulation of the United States and the the Soviet Union, theUnited Nations passed the "Palestinian-Israeli administration program" which solicit thefirst Middle East conflict. In the following four Middle East conflicts, Israel, with thesupport of the United States, hasn't been defeated, but took hold of large size of Arabianground. The United States' long-standing policies partial to Israel and the division withinthe Arab countries as well all contributed to the labyrinth of the Palestine-Israel conflict. The solution of the conflict needed the participation of the great powers, such as theUnited States, Russia, China, France, Germany and so on. Therefore, both Israel andPalestine should enforce the cooperation whit these countries. War and force can't settlethe conflict radically, peace talks is the only correct way.
