After the failure of the Great Revolution, the Communists turned the main part of the revolution to the countryside from the city, and began to initiate the Revolution Base in the countryside. The Central Revolution Base is the biggest one during the Second Internal Revolution. Women of the Central Base played a very important role in the New Democracy, and the improvement of women's status acted an energetic part in women development. In term of the Central Base, the evolvement of women's status is of positive meaning for cohering women power and supporting the New Democracy.This essay takes the women of the Central Base as the object of study, inspecting the changing of political standings,economic standings,education and marriage before and after the building of the Central Base. It also inspects the important functions of the New Democracy, those are the women had the political rights in gradual, and exerted the action of leadership; the women's economic standings had been improved and women acted as the economic constructors in the New Democracy; the education level of women also had been improved so that some high-leveled,high-educated women and the women who had professional skills had come forward continually; women could control their own marriage and had received certain status in the family.The improvement of women's status linked with the war environment tightly, because a large number of men had gone to the military front line, which is the probability for women to appear in the society. It connected with the appropriate policy; the correct policy led the women to grow perfectly. It also contacted with the hard striving, that is women expressed unprecedented revolutionary passionate and zeal.
