In the modern societies ruled of law, the implementation of law relates to the national power, social order as well as the individual rights of different social classes, therefore the request to the legal professions is highly demanded. The specialization of the legal professions is the tradition and the development trend of the most countries in the world, it is also a historical mission to build a socialism nation under the rule of law in our country.The Unified National Judicial Examination System was founded within this context in the year 2002, which links the legal science education, legal professions selection, training and assignment systems in our country. During the past 4 years, the unified national judicial examination system promoted the specialization and homogeneity of the legal professions dramatically, which also deeply impacted the judicial practice in our country.Meanwhile, there also exposed some problems and insufficient elements with the practice of the unified judicial examination, the function and goal of the judicial examination will not be effectively achieved without the modification of the system.The modification and reform of the unified judicial examination system includes not only the contents and methods of the examination itself, but also the related systems such as training, maintenances, exchanging systems of the legal professions. This article analyzes the present judicial examination system and its related systems in our country through reviewing the development history of the legal profession in our country, comparing with the successful oversea models, and tries to give an answer.
