The right to gather news comes from the resource of the prescription of the constitution, which descript the freedom of the publication and the cultural activities; the right to gather news is one of the ways which the public seek and obtain the information, and implement the right of knowing the reality; whether it is implemented well or not directly affect the request of the right of lowing the reality the study on the right to gather news helps to protect the freedom of the public speech. This article carried on the analysis to news interview right from the different gradations and aspects in the theory and the practice. This article discussed the concept, the nature, the basic content, the legal limit and the legal protection of news interview right separately. Thereby hope it is helpful to establish a legislation frame for our country "News Law" in the near future ,which content is integrity and the form is strict, and it is helpful to news interview right theory development and legislation of "News Law" in the near future, simultaneously it has a more important academic value and the practical significance.
