These years,as the the internet and the mobile phone developed rapidly,new forms of news medias such as network media and the mobile media came out and developed rapidly.Working together with the traditional medias such as the news paper,TV and the radio,the new media time has arrived.During the new media time,people tended to search and collect information more through the new medias,especially the young people.New medias such as network media and the mobile media has brought huge changes to the information communication,anyone can inform and communicate by the new media,and the grass roots were able to make their voices heard.With the rapid development of the network media and the mobile media,Journalism in China has reformed and made remarkable achievements,under the background that the new media's giving more and more important influence to the social culture and the audience behavior,.According to the traditional definition of the news media,the more we thought of its mouthpiece function.But the news media is the conscience of the society,lack of the healthy news medias,our society can't be healthy.However,during the promotion of the news media's maketization and industrialization,the news media become more and more commercial and recreational.The news media is a business enterprise,as a commercial enterprise,the news media's mouthpiece function or the function of social conscience is weakening,and these problems needs our government's regulation,in order to prompt the news media to shoulder more social responsibilities.The problems existing in the process of the government regulation of the news media supervision in China mainly includes the following aspects,1)the administrative intervention instead of the freedom of the press.2)the administrative examine and approve lack of strict standard.3)the correct public opinion faces great challenge.4)inappropriate management to the improper behaviors of the news media and the journalist.5)journalist's panic to supervise the public's improper behavior because of their revenge.6)expansion of the media's improper behavior under the new media situation as lack of enough government regulation.Government regulatory and the freedom of the press are a pair of contradictions,the healthy development of the news media can't without government regulatory.We need to know that the government regulation and the freedom of the press are not contradictory,the press' healthy development can't without the proper government regulation.Only after the interactive response,checks and balances mechanism among the judiciary,the administration and the media been build,the value of the news media can exert.Nowadays western separatist forces,Taiwan independence forces still tried to through the news permeability to split our country,too much and inappropriate freedom of the press may give great chance to these forces,once be used by them,it will bring great loss to our country and harm the public interests.News media as a service carrier to the Socialist Modernization Drive,should be guided and handled by the government.Therefore,during the new media time,especially the broadly use of the network media and the mobile media,the subject of perfection of the government's regulatory functions of the news media must be addressed.
