Legal Analysis Of Labor Standard Issues In WTO

It is widely acknowledged that the World Trade Organization (WTO), as global international organization dealing with the rules of trade between nations, will face new challenges for the labor standards problems in the future. The labor standards have been one of the difficulties to restrict development of the WTO sine the 1996 Singapore Ministerial Conference. Although there are different standpoints among the member states, the labor standards will became the WTO formal articles because of own rationality. China as the biggest developing country must envisage the connections of the WTO and the labor standards in order to gain the competitive advantage in global competition and accelerate the development of the national economy.The paper is divided into four chapters, first discusses the relations between WTO, china and the labor standards after introducing the labor standards, and provide new opinions and advice; Then analyzes the law foundation of bringing the labor standards into the WTO frame, and constructs the labor standards system design under the WTO frame; furthermore, discusses resolutions of the law problems of the labor standards in china, and emphatically analyzes the difference between our national labor standard and the core labor standards; finally gives some advice to promote the labor law and Strengthen executing law degree.
