The Effect Of The New Social Class Having On The Construction Of Chinese Democratic Politics

After more than 20 years' reform and open policy, the social class of China presents the tendency of multiplication, and the traditional social structure of "two social classes, a social stratum" has been broken, appearing the new social classes which are composed of the founders and technicians in technical private enterprises, the superintendents hired by the foreign enterprises, the individual operators, the owners of private enterprises, the staff in facilitating agencies ,the liberal professions and so on. At present these new social classes have become important constitution in the Chinese society. The history experience tells us that the concrete conditions and mutual relations in a social class have an effect on the nature and movement pattern of society political institution. In now China, the production of the new social classes surely affects the advancement and result of construction of democratic politics of China. For example, the new social classes are important strength about the development of national economy in our country. Also they have stronger sense of political participation, which inevitably will impel the development of economic basis of democratic politics, the formation of political participation culture and the consummation of system. At the same time, the appearance of the new social classes inevitably brings some contradictions and conflicts to the society. In addition the new social classes are not very mature because they are at the process of formation. They have lots of conflicts about non- systems political participation, which brings the challenge to the construction of democratic political. In brief, the new social classes are good for the construction of democratic politics of China. CPC as an incumbent party in China must continue to display the magic weapon function of United Front, and persist the policy of "Fully Respect, Widely Relate, Well Unite, Warmly Help, Positively Guide" to do our best to unite the new social classes. At the same time, we must unceasingly strengthen the party himself construction to enhance party's force of condensation and summons to unite the new social classes. We must display their positive role to let them become an important strength to construct and develop the Chinese Characteristic Socialism.
