Arendt has shown her questioning to some fundamental theory premise of the liberalism since Hobbes's, such as the negatively free that the liberalism asks the material safety, the citizen dignity that the liberalism demands economy benefit, and the welfare state idea. Such a misgiving, on the significance of cleaning up liberty, the theme what Arendt makes efforts to expound and prove is: Liberty is the words and deeds performance that reveals in the public. The proposition on building-up of Arendt's "common field " free theory supposes the examination with the phenomenon and characteristic to west modernity in advance. The fundamental problem that she introspects is: If the western liberalism and Nazi politics have denied the most original meaning of free politics because of using "liberty" to control all fields of human life, then, how can they explain this question - what is liberty in the present situation of postmodern. Obviously, this animadvert puts certain value on postmodern politics experience. Judging from this position, Arendt has pointed out the negative effect what has hidden after modernization since "enlightenment campaign " in tier of pretty forceful theory. When Arendt has leant on her theory in the public areas and the theory frame on acting, she has had no way to introspect possibility of public areas and politics action's realization, then she hasn't found a way to build up the certain condition that makes political freedom institutionalized. It may have something to do with her unilateral overreaction to liberalism, which makes her theory lose the possibility of practice. Although the realization of Arendt's political freedom means a pang, it possesses the theoretical function of mental compensation. The postmodern understanding of liberty conceals in Arendt's freedom theory.
