| Creating good housing conditions for residents to live and work in peace and contentment is not only the social ideal, but also people's basic demands for life. As a result, improving living quality has been a problem to discuss with no time to delay in cities as we are holding high the Banner of scientific outlook of development and people-oriented idea nowadays. It should be even more strategic significance to Hangzhou which is establishing an affluent society and the city of living quality.Based on reviewing of the latest living quality theories' achievements, and following the actual living conditions in our country in China, the paper studies out a set of index more comprehensive and systemic which can well evaluate the satisfaction of living quality by AHP analysis method. At last, the paper uses this index to make empirical research on Hangzhou in order to learn Hangzhou residents' satisfaction condition of every attribute of living quality and reflect what aspects of the living strategy of Hangzhou should be enhanced in the future.The result shows that residents are basically satisfied with the conditions of living quality in Hangzhou presently. At the present time, Hangzhou has achieved great success in the aspects of supporting facilities of residential quarters, security of society, living quality of economically affordable housing and so on. At the same time residents' dissatisfactions focused on the aspects of residential quarters' estate management, traffic jam, financial burden of residences, market environment and so on. So the paper puts forward several relative policy proposals, and This study's concludes can provide an effective information instrument for government's city planning, enterprises' investment and exploitation, and even for the residents to choose their housing conditions. |
