Probation system in our country has existed long time, it embodys the magnanimous penal policy. But today socialization of crime punishment and attention on correction of the culprits' psychosocial and behavior have become main stream, so the traditional probation system in our country can not be accordant the demand now. Compare with the other countries, contents of supervision and investigation in probation system of ours are unilateral, and this is the crucial reason. So, we must perfect the probation system in our country as soon as possible, especially the contents of supervision and investigation, in order to make it play a genuine effect on correction to the culprits, realize the objective of socialization of crime punishment.
