On The "Openness" Of Deng Xiaoping's Thoughts On Modernization

China has experienced unprecedented changes and acquired outstanding achievements since 1949. In the first thirty years after her foundation, taking Chairman Mao as the core, the first generation of CCP's collective leadership, has explored ruggedly for the construction of socialist modernization fit for China, history has proved that Chairman Mao is the creator and founder of China's modernization. Consequently, taking Mr. Deng Xiaoping as the core, the second generation of CCP's collective leadership has practiced successfully in order to create a socialist modernization road with Chinese characteristics, Mr. Deng is the designer of China's modernization and the director and promoter of this great practice. Since the late of 1980s and the beginning of 1990s, the third generation of CCP's collective leadership, taking Mr. Jiang Zemin as the core, and the new central leading group, taking Mr. Hu Jintao as the core, have inherited and developed further Mr. Deng's modernization thoughts, and become the comprehensive successor and creator of China's socialist modernization construction in the new era.The thesis can be divided into three parts.Part One is the introduction and it introduces the background, the significance and the present situation of the research in this field, and the content and means of study of this thesis as well.Part Two concludes the relationship between inheritance and development of Mr. Mao Zedong and Mr. Deng Xiaoping's modernization thoughts through analyzing the background of the formation of Mr. Deng's modernization thoughts. And it also concluded that the nature of "openness" is the main characteristic of Mr. Deng's modernization thoughts on the basis of the basic content and features of Mr. Deng's modernization thoughts.Part Three analyzes the general manifestation and the centralized presentation of the "openness" of Mr. Deng's modernization thoughts from the view of special nature of Marxism's theory. It mainly discusses the third generation of the CCP's collective leadership and the new central leading group, and points out that their modernization thoughts in the new era are the inheritage and development of Deng Xiaoping's Thoughts on modernization, they also bear the "openess" nature, they will be much further developed as the new practice of socialist modernization construction.
