In the 20th century, Mao Ze-dong' influence to China was huge, this manifested in the foreign policy, the ideology, the economic development pattern and so on. Before the 1950s, China was poor and feeble, subjected to the big powers. At the same time, the US was the most formidable capitalist country, moreover ,being in the rising trend. Mao Zedong led the Chinese people to strive for the national independence and the liberation, he could not but pay attention to the US enormously.A person knows the destiny, when he is 50 year-old. To 1949, Mao Ze-dong was nearly 60 years old, his methodology, the world outlook, including the American view, were already quite mature. After that, it although will change along with the situation development, but, the main body has finalized basically.The article regards the practices of Mao Ze-dong learning from American, the contact and struggle's activity as research topic, which occurred before the founding of new China. Analyzes the coordination of emotion and reason, as well as the union of idealism and the practical motion, which happened in the evolution process of Mao Ze-dong' American view .Study the development and change of Mao Zedong' America view and the subjective and objective factor that caused the change. The article will perhaps provide some reference for us to deal with the Sino-US relations in the new century.This article divides into three chapters, mainly taking the time shift as the master line, narrates and analyzes the evolution process of Mao Zedong' America view before the founding of new China:The first chapter mainly studies the primary formation stage of Mao Ze-dong's American view. Youth Mao Ze-dong had the rebellious spirit, seeking knowledge thirstily, accepted "the American spirit" with pleasure, and attempted practice. But American' policy toward China was selfish and false, this urged Mao Zedong to choose "the Russian path", and became Marxist.The second chapter studies the development of Mao Ze-dong's America view in the Sino-Japanese War time. According to the Chinese Sino-Japanese War's need, international situation's change and American own policy , Mao Ze-ong regards the US as "the democratic country" in the capitalist country, the strength which may unite.The third chapter mainly studies the development of Mao Ze-dong's America view, in the war of liberation. After World War II, American, Soviet, the Kuomintang party and the Communist Party of China all made the corresponding policy adjustment. According to the historic experience and the prediction to future, Mao Zedong started to found the quite complete foreign policy and the system info. He proposed that "all reactionary cliques are the paper tigers", and "leans to one side". At the same time, analyzing the history which China and US associated, refuting The US government's white paper on policy toward China, Mao Ze-dong's American view even more theorized, the systematized and stabilized.
