Uzbekistan in Central Asia is a very important country. In 1991, with the collapse of the Soviet Union, Uzbekistan has obtained the precious national independence. In order to integrate into the international community as soon as possible, Uzbekistan has launched a positive multifaceted diplomacy, and established diplomatic links with many countries in the world and international organizations, and achieved remarkable successes. Throughout diplomatic tendency during the ten years of Uzbekistan's independence, we can see that Uzbekistan pursued an all-round foreign policy, but non-equidistant diplomacy, and the relationships with Russia and the United States were placed a very important position.My paper is more comprehensive, systematic analysis of the foreign policy of the post-independent Uzbekistan. The paper is divided into five parts.The introduction has briefly introduced the cause of the topic and the significances of this paper ,analyzed the current research situation at home and abroad, as well as the research methodology and theories that were used in my paper.The first chapter has introduced the international situation's changes and Uzbekistan's independence, as well as the main problems which early Uzbekistan after independence has faced.The second chapter has analyzed factors that have impacted on the Uzbekistan formulating foreign policy as well as its foreign policy's concrete formulation.The third chapter has concretely analyzed the relations between Uzbekistan, major countries and International organizations, and focused on analysis of the relations with U.S. and Russia.The forth chapter has carried on the appraisal and prospect of the Uzbekistan's foreign policy.
