With the continuous and quick development of economy in our country, the vehicles such as automobile are becoming more and more, as a result, the transportation accidents are increasing, becoming a severe social problem with attracts social attention. What's worse, some of the troublemakers escape after the accident in order to be free from the law responsibility, resulting in some victims' death because of no immediate aid. Such severe behavior arouses common attention from all the aspects of society, even the law field is surprised at it. In order to protect the victims and to further effectively investigation and affix the troublemaker's responsibility ,the new Criminal Law made rules on the issue of escape-causing death. Additionally, the Judicial Interpretations of the Criminal Law by the Supreme People's court in 2000 also explained this. However, there are still many controversies during the judicial practice.
