Patriotic Education Research In The Background Of Globalization

Globalization has become unstoppable trend of the times,and is playing an increasingly broad and far-reaching influence on human life. Patriotic education is an important aspect of Social practice, and also is one of the core content to civic education of the world countries. Patriotism is the powerful spiritual motivation to promote the progress of a state and the nation. Globalization has brought the positive and negative impact to patriotic education. As a historical category, patriotic education is given the new connotation of the times and historical mission by the process of globalization. Therefore, we must recognize the necessity and importance of patriotic education and hold the banner of patriotism highly to respond to the challenges of globalization. Patriotic education'content and way should develop constantly with the progress of the times. In the background of globalization, the important issues which this paper discuss include that for the development of patriotic education toward the scientific and the modernized direction, what aspects should be and how to carried on patriotic education.This article discusses the elementary theory of globalization and patriotic education firstly and then proposes the globalization'influence on patriotic education. Moreover, we analysis the necessity and importance of patriotic education from new perspective on the background of globalization. Besides, we advance that the proper new content of patriotic education under new time condition. Lastly, we explore experimentally that how to prosecute patriotic education in the era of globalization.
