Patriotic patriotism,as the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation,has always been a distinctive theme that runs through the history of China.In the process of the historical evolution of the Chinese nation,patriotism,as a moral emotion,inspired generations of Chinese sons and daughters to forge ahead for the future of the country,the destiny of the nation,and the happiness of the people.They continued to forge ahead,worked together,and wrote countless historical chapters.With the development of globalization,countries have become more and more closely linked with economic globalization.At the same time,they have demonstrated political pluralism,cultural diversity,and information diversification.This has exerted varying degrees of influence on the foundation,contents,environment,and methods of fostering the "patriotic" values.Under the background of globalization,in the face of the impact of Western cultural concepts,insisting on the use of Marxist theory to cultivate citizen's "patriotic" values is of great significance for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.This article is divided into five parts.The first chapter is introduction.In the introduction,the basis,purpose and significance of the topic were introduced.At the same time,domestic and foreign scholars were combed on the research of related issues.The second chapter is the premise of writing this thesis.The author interprets the concepts related to the nouns such as "globalization","values" and "patriotism" and strives to accurately grasp every basic concept.The third chapter is the theoretical basis for writing this thesis,which mainly includes three aspects.First,the theory of patriotism of classical Marxist writers was combed,and the patriotic goals and specific requirements in the new period were put forward.Second,it summarizes the characteristics of traditional patriotism and analyzes the significance of the traditional patriotism for fostering the “patriotic” values in the new era.Thirdly,the author analyzes countries in the United States,Singapore and South Korea that are more effective in patriotism education,and tries to provide a new perspective for the cultivation of China's “patriotic” values.Chapter 4 analyzes the challenges of theglobalization,the foundation,content,environment and ways of nurturing the "patriotic" values of Chinese citizens based on the characteristics of globalization.The fifth chapter is aimed at objectively existing problems in the process of cultivating the “patriotic” values.In conjunction with the principles set out in the “Opinions on Cultivating and Practicing Core Socialist Values” issued by the Central Office,some specific issues are proposed.solution.
