The Roles Of Our Government In Promoting Social Justice

Realization of social justice is not only the ideal that the human beings strive for, but also the basic concept of Marxism. The maintainence and realization of social justice is the inevitable demand of serving the public and being in power. It is also the essential requirement of socialist society. During the new period of constucting soalialist harmonious society, oue party pays more attention to social justice. Social justice is the basic condition of realizing social harmony and the vital characteristic and goal of social harmonious society. The purpose of the article is to elabrate the question of social justice from the perspective of our government and analyse the government role in realizing social justice so as to find out the ways of realizing social justice.The paper is divided into four chapters.Chapter One makes a comprehensive summary of the elementary theory of social justice, and expounds that justice is the common social ideal of mankind and the basic concept of Marxism theory. As a kind of social ideology,justice concept is the reflection of social existence. Restricted by the condition of social production,economy and the level of people's undershanding, justice concept is different in different countries and during the different period in history.Chapter Two mainly expounds the activie roles of government in promoting social justice during the new period, which lays establishs foundations for the following chapters..Chapter Three is the core. It analyzes the unfair phenomenon in our society and the reasons that cause them. It pionts out the responsibility of government for social injustice. At present, the unfair phenomena mainly exist in our country,such as income, education, health care etc. All these phenomena have adverse effects on our socialist construction and should be taken seriously and solved.As for the deficiencies Be aimed at insufficience and problems,as well as the responsibility of government in social injustice, Chapter Four proposes some concrete methods that may help government promote the realizing of social justice. Realization of social justice will greatly promote the construction of socialist harmonious society.
