After entering the globalization times since last century, with the strengthening of interdependence among states, the international society is changing from anarchy full of chaos to a more institutional society which is based on some basic global understanding. It holds that state- socialization is a bidirectional course, in one hand, interests-oriented states try to learn and internalize the international institutions and norms; on the other hand, international society tends to guide and restrain the state behavior by using international institutions and norms, at the same time, state-status and state-interests will change within the course. This paper takes the interaction between international institutions and state in the socialization process as a breakthrough point, in a perspective combined of constructivism and rationalism, it explores the socializing role of the WTO in China aiming to interpret the process of state-socialization, both from international and domestic level.
