From the viewpoint of Geopolitical,Japan is a ocean state,ocean have great meaning for Japan's Survival and development.Since the modern time,Japan payed great attention of ocean.The first half of the 20th century,Japan relyed on a strong navy to get the sea power of East Asia and West Pacific by force.After the second world war,Japan is controlled by U S A.Under the nuclear umbrella of United States,Japan pursed of the principle of qualified army,graduate to develop army force,constructed a strong Maritime Self-Defense Force and established defence strategy of sea power.As the end of cold war,Japan adjust the strategy of sea power more swiftly when US-Japan alliance continued to strengthen.The strategy of defence transformed into the active and offensive strategy.Maritime Self-Defense Force turn into Large-scale,Aggressive and blue-water maritime force.As China deepen the combination into the world,china more and more rely on the ocean.the need of development not only requires China go to ocean,but also demand China must continue to show great concern for Japan's strategy of sea power.The article starts from the beginning of the continuity of the modern Japan's strategy of sea power,then analyses the change of Japan's strategy of sea power after the second world war and reveals the transform and reasons of Japan's strategy after the cold war,including Japan's three strategic pillars of sea power,is Maritime Self-Defense Force,US-Japan alliance and diplomacy as well as how Japan's strategy of sea power to influence China's strategic space,Taiwan,South China Sea an so on. At last,the article explore China's countermeasure to Japan's strategy preliminarily from the viewpoint of marine's defence strategy,the upgrade of navy,the solution of conflict of maritime rights and interests.
