With 2008 Presidential Election being the background, we reflect on America election system again. Through the point of the view of election system, we analyze the political culture of America; guided by the political cultural theory, we see American election system on a deeper level. In the modes of both behavior and psychology, we study and criticize the American political culture, we hope this is helpful for the Chinese Election System Revolution these 30 years.In the first chapter, the historical research on the field has been studied. The concept of political culture is defined in this chapter. Political culture is consisted of political value, political attitude, political practise. It is defined as a nation's long-term developed recolonization, emotion, attitude and the behavior when concerning what roles they play in the aspect of politicsIn the second chapter, the American election system has been researched on. After explaining the vote and expression are 2 most important ways of political participation, we particularly studied the campaign finance resource and the mass media's role in presidential campaign.In the third chapter, we analyze the American political culture through the respective of presidential election system. We explored the American politician values: self-independent, freedom, equality, democracy and self-governing. And the political culture regions in America have been studied in this chapter.In the forth chapter, we criticize the American election system and political culture, meanwhile we discuss on what China shall gain from it.In the fifth chapter, the conclusion is made.
