As the great forerunner of Chinese democratic revolution and also Asia's first Republic of the founders , Sun Yat-sen had been away from us, but his thinking is what our future generations the precious spiritual wealth, especially its ideological and constitutional democracy. As China's market economy is further establishing, China's accession to the WTO accelerates the process of world integration, democracy, the rule of law and the modernization of the state has not only become an urgent requirement in our society, but also the inevitable trend of social development. Therefore, the discussion of Sun Yat-sen's Constitutional Thought has an important ideological and practical significance and enlightenment function.Sun Yat-sen is China's earliest advocates of representative democracy, one of the constitutional system of government. The analysis of Sun 's Constitutional Though of ideological origins and its history helps us to interpret the constitutional politics in modern China and its internal logic development. In this paper, Based on analysis of the basic concept of Sun 's Constitutional Thought, we try to explore the theoretical thinking of their constitutional origins, the logic of the system, basic features, the ideological and historical evaluation.The article is divided into five parts: The first part, a brief introduction of the Sun 's Constitutional Thought and its origin and the history and development; The second chapter details the main ideas of Sun 's Constitutional Thought, from the Five-right Constitution Thought, the separation of power, nation-building process, direct democracy to local self-government, especially focuses on the core of Sun 's Constitutional Thought - Five-right Constitution thoughts; The third chapter, combining related historical materials,introduce and explore the Chinese Nationalist Party's practice of Sun's theory; The fourth chapter, applying the Marxist method of dialectical materialism, from the historically contributions to limitations, explores the value of Sun 's constitutional democracy theory; Chapter V briefly expounded the significances of Sun 's constitutional democracy theory to build a socialist country ruled by law in the modern china.
