On Study Of Deng Xiaoping's Socialist Spiritual Civilization

Mr. Deng Xiaoping has creatively put forward a scientific proposition of socialist spiritual civilization using the Marxist theory and since China's reform and opening up policy, making it to be the important part of Deng Xiaoping Theory. Socialist spiritual civilization is a tight complete scientific system. There is the historical background and conditions as well as the experienced four historical periods which have enriched and developed the system in the formation of this theoretical system, so that it becomes the important guiding ideology in socialist modernization. It first explicitly put forward the essential characteristics of socialism, the fundamental task of socialist spiritual civilization to cultivate the "four" new person which is rich and profound, hold the mass characteristics of science, nation, time, openness.
