| The framework convention on climate change (FCCC) is the most important legal achievement made by international community for the purpose of protecting global climate system and addressing climate change. As a multilateral law-making treaty, FCCC made the principles of international law, rules and institutions on climate change issues from immaturity to maturity. For the ultimate aim of promoting China's economic growth, social development and environmental sustainable development,This thesis made a comparative study on the fulfillment of FCCC in India and China, drawing on the beneficial experience of climate change policy and legislation in India, then carry on to review, assess and outlook our country's climate change policy and legislation, This subject is of great theoretical and practical value to deal with the challenges of climate change.However, FCCC has not made the quantification request on greenhouse gas emission reduction in developing countries,therefore, it seems that the research becomes less realistic practice significance on China and India's response to address climate change, but the fact is not so, as two of the leader of numerous developing countries, China and India's stance on climate change has a great guidance function, therefore, the significance is not just as a reference on climate change in China of a comparative study on the two countries address to climate change on international position, domestic measures, legal status and perspectives of the fulfillment, but also a beneficial inspiration for other developing countries to address climate change... |
