On The Formulation And Development Of Leaping Development Theory Of Marxism

Leaping Development Theory of Marxism (henceforth Leaping Development Theory), firstly put forward by Marx, is based on his investigation into Russian agricultural community in his later years. Leaping development theory (henceforth LAD) is mainly concerned about the direct transition of the oriental society, represented by Russian village, from its social underdevelopment to socialism society, assimilating the achievements of the capitalism society and overpassing its "Krafting Gorge".The idea of leaping Krafting Gorge of the capitalism can find its origin in Rome allusion. Originally, Krafting Gorge refers to the sadness and insults; however, the academic circle now unanimously regards it as not suffering from the misfortunes and sadness brought forward by the capitalism. The vivid and complex LAD mainly consists of the following contents, that is, transition of the social formation, origin of communism, strategy to realize leaping, and definition to the leaping. The successful leaping of the agricultural community in Russia is no coincidence but the result of the interaction between domestic and foreign conditions under that historical background.LAD is formulated in the 1980s, and later complemented and perfected by Engels, Lenin, Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, and Jiang Zemin, answering the question on how to build up the socialism after the leaping in backwards society, and successfully contiuing Marx's theory. It may be briefly summed up as follows that the theory is proposed by Marx, supplemented by Engels, firstly practiced by Lenin, developed by Mao Zedong, matured by Deng Xiaoping, and perfected by Jiang Zemin. And the three-generation collective leadership in China creatively combines the leaping development theory with China's actual conditions, and successfully realizes the leaping development in terms of China's social system, productivity and technology.So we can say that LAD is in accordance with the times and is suitable for the oriental underdeveloped countries. On the one hand, it is of great philosophical significance for the leaping development theory to achieve its breakthrough in the rudiments of basic contradictions of society viewed from the materialist conception of history, the world history thought, the society formulation theory, and the whole-development theory of human beings; on the other hand, LAD reveals the diversity and characteristics of the society, therefore, it is important for the social development theory at the philosophical level, and of great methodological and theoretical significance for the formulation and development of the theory of building up socialism with Chinese characteristics. The socialism with Chinese characteristics, the latest localization of Marxism in China, is in accordance with Marxism-Leninism, Deng Xiaoping Theory, and the important thought of "three representatives". It not only inherit the core principles of Marx's leaping development theory, but also make a breakthrough and new achievements regarding to the socialism in terms of its essence, path, initial stage, development idea, stimulus of economic development, economic system, political foundation, and foreign relationship, which deserves the imitation and learning from the countries that want to realizing the leaping development.LAD is of theoretical and practical significance to the cause of China's socialism. LAD tells us that, in building up the socialism with Chinese characteristics, we should take economic development as the central task, emancipate and expand the productive forces, stick to the basic state policy of independence and opening-up and reform, and promote the development of economy and society at a faster and greater pace. Therefore, we should take LAD as the theoretical foundation, make overall plan, realize the transition from partial leaping development to overall development, and achieve the goal of building up socialism harmonious society. We should also adhere to the opening-up and reform policy, improve the self-owned intellectual property to enhance the international competitiveness, transform the way of the economic development to realize a low-caborn economy, and take on the new road of industrialization. We should also actively explore the domestic and foreign market, and reasonably distribute the resource at home and abroad, develop the productive forces, achieve the double leaping in social system and productive forces, and finally fully reveal the advantages of the socialism system.
