Marxist Popularization And The Path Choosing In The Cultural Pluralism Field

Cultural pluralism is the basic form and remarkable characteristic of human culture. Moreover, along with the further development of cultural globalization, the tendency of multicultural has been increasingly prominent. Under the background of multicultural,"Unity in diversity,coexisting harmony"is the basic principle and necessary path to promote the development of human culture . On one hand, cultural pluralism advance the interaction and influences among different nationalities, which may continually satisfy people's various spiritual needs, and it also boost the common prosperity of various ethnics and harmonious development of human culture; while on the other hand, cultural pluralism may bring out differences and conflicts of people's view towards life and value, and it also leads to confusion of people's value orientation and beliefs. Now in China, the development of cultural pluralism, which is the basic form of Marxist ideology culture's construction, has led to identity crisis of the Marxist ideology culture. To"give a strong impetus to socialism culture development and prosperity", establish socialism core value system and consolidate Marxism guiding status, we should not only admit the existence of pluralistic culture, but allow and encourage the development of pluralistic culture. Besides, we must adhere to the CPC's correct guidance on cultural career, then gradually establish the new pattern of cultural development of"dominance—pluralism".Marxist popularization in the cultural field, as its essences is concerned, is a process that Marxism ascended Chinese historical stage of the existence and development with the identity as an advanced culture coming from the west, and then gradually to be understood, accepted and believed by the masses. In cultural connotation, Marxism popularization is the procedure that Marxism gradually fused,integrated and ascended Chinese culture. Accelerating the Marxism popularization in the cultural pluralism field is the requirement to realize Marxism practical basic provisions, and to develop contemporary Chinese culture innovation. It is also the need to enhance the attraction and cohesive force of Marxism ideology. However ,the rising of popular culture, the overflowing of various non--Marxism ideology, the insufficiency of the theoretical study and inefficiency of publicity and education have caused the mainstream ideology position downgrading, Marxism belief crisis and the insufficiency of Marxism dynamic,which are becoming the present problems in the process of promoting Marxism popularization. There are four practical paths to accelerate the Marxism popularization in the cultural pluralism field. Firstly, adhering to the lead of socialism core value system, as socialism core value system is the realistic choice coping with cultural popularization, the significant theory of Marxism persisting and developing, and the common thought basis of consolidating and uniting the whole nation and its people. Secondly, strengthen the construction of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics. Therefore, we should correctly handle the relationship between the centralization and cultural diversity, between the mainstream culture and popular culture,including the relationship between the inheritance and absorption and so on. Thirdly, promoting the theory innovation, we should establish and perfect the mechanism of investigation and study on theory innovation, and the democratic system in the party,academic transformation mechanism and the rest . Fourthly, enhancing the ability of party's leadership of doing ideological work, for which we should improve the party's ideological and political qualities, transform the method of party working, meanwhile strengthen"positional consciousness", and grasp the direction of public media.
