On The Criminal Investigation Of The Informant And Legal Regulation

The use of informants detection has become an important means in investigation practice. Informants are hidden force controlled by the investigative authority to gather and provide criminal information and it is extremely beneficial to improve the detection rate and efficiency if informants can be used properly in the criminal investigation. However due to the lack of legal requirement in our law about informants and coupled with lack of standards and management of informants, there is a number of problems to be solved in informants investigation.Therefore this article primarily analyzes problems which occurs in the course of our criminal investigation authorities carrying out investigation activities, and on the basis of taking judicial practices of foreign countries as reference, finally strive to build up the informants system in China's Criminal Investigation.
