The Commentary Of The Two Meeting In Zhengzhou

Two-timed Zhengzhou Sessions are the beginning of correcting'left-of-center'thought by Communist Party led by Mao Zedong (Chairman Mao). Due to the effects from home and abroad, Communist Party led by Mao Zedong was anxious for success basing on its deflected thought against the one in the early days of foundation. The'left-of-center'thought was regarded a guiding theory but was opposed, which arise'Great Leap Forward'and movement to form rural people's communes. In the circumstance of inundant'communist wind', Mao perceived this mistake and he decided to sit a meeting for rectifying in Henan where the'left-of-center'thought was serious comparatively.At the first Zhengzhou session, the movement to form rural people's communes was issued. Mao put forward his opinion for rectifying including educating senior directors and making a clear distraction between socialism and communism and another one between the ownership by collectivity and the ownership by the whole people. He pointed that forbidding commodity production is adverse to the object economic law and he emphasized that it is necessary to develop socialistic merchandise production. Furthermore, he suggested to clarity and unify those thoughts by Marxism-Leninism theory. At the second Zhengzhou session, the policy on regulating and building people's communes was drawn up. The core issue of this time is figuring out a series of problems following movement of communes starting with rectifying the internal pattern of ownership. Mao pointed that rural people's communes must base on the ownership of production teams, reaffirmed value law, emphasized equivalent exchange is economic law that can not be offended during socialism period, and revealed that the essential of'communist wind'is grabbing others labor gains.Zhengzhou sessions are the beginning which Mao led whole party to rectify'left-of-center'thought and it is energetic and fruitful. However,the influence of the two-timed Zhengzhou Sessions was limited,because these efforts were in progress by the direction of'left-of-center'thought and aimed at more promoting further'Great Leap Forward'and movement to form rural people's communes.Therefore, correcting'left-of-center'thought was not complete.At the same, that was where the historical limitations of two-timed Zhengzhou Sessions arises,thus their impacts were still limited. We can grasp the essence of the deep reason of the'left-of-center'thought: People's Commune was Mao's ideal design of chinese socialistic society according to Marxist theory.Meanwhile, Mao's has profound emotional knot for ideal society.These were barriers to rectify'left-of-center'thought.
