The mobile newspaper has passed the stages of cultivate and expand users in five years since 2004. And it will enter a new era of rapid development. The mobile newspaper has become a fashion even necessity for people to read the mobile newspaper. It played a great role in reporting major news events in Wenchuan earthquake and Olympic Games, which made people have increasing expectation on it. Moreover, its developing prospect will be bright as the arrival of 3G times.However, as a newborn media form, the rapid development of the mobile newspaper is unsmooth, even existing many problems to solve urgently. The present paper tries to do research and analysis from its characteristics, bottlenecks in real development, especially its supervisory and future development.The full paper can be divided into three parts. The first chapter introduces the current situation of the mobile newspaper, including rising causes, the definition that the author gives, brief classification, characteristics and current development at home and abroad. The second chapter analyzes the problems and causes in the development of the mobile newspaper, which are separated into surface causes and deep unsolved bottlenecks. Through analysis of the issues mentioned above, the author finds out the reasons that obstruct the better development of the mobile newspaper. The third chapter is the key section of the paper. It discusses regulation supervisory of the mobile newspaper, which is always the author's focus. Therefore, the present paper researches from the aspects of supervision system and approaches, emphasizing the specific discussion of expounding its rules of law. At the last part, the author proposes some ideas about future development of the mobile newspaper.
