The Critique Of Biocolonialism In The Threshold Of Marxist Theory Of Alienation

After a brief historical exploration of concept "alienation" which has always been the focus of Marxist theory, the thesis gave a short review to the main forms and the manifestations of alienation with deep thoughtfulness, from the dimension of political alienation,technical alienation and economic alienation respectively. Based on the analysis and reference of the theories of alienation of Western Marxism and other schools of thought, it then did a historical and realistic exploration of the root causes and the paths to overcome alienation.Then the thesis gave a brief introduction of the main background and motivation of bio-colonialism,its characteristics and the hazards and effects it brings, outlining the complex picture of bio-colonialism in the threshold of bio-politics preliminarily.After that, placing the phenomenon of bio-colonialism in the Marxist theory of alienation against the grand context of globalization,the thesis launched a detailed review and analysis of the reasons, the nature, the hazards and the operational mechanism of bio-colonialism from the three directions of political,technical and economic alienation.It tried to prove that bio-colonialism not only further aggravated the alienation of human beings from nature, science from culture,and right from value under the current conditions of capitalism,but also make the basic contradiction of capitalism more sharper and irreconcilable.At the same time,the thesis in turn exploited blo-colonialism to mirror the social reality with universal alienation of the so-called neo-capitalism and the resulting overall survival crises.At last,in the general path of abandoning alienation,combining the above analysis and following the same track, the thesis tried to explore correspondingly the specific strategies to resist those various alienated forces from the three dimensions mentioned above,which has greatly pushed bio-colonialism.
