Study On Strategy Of Building Social Harmony Demonstration Area

On the basis of deeply analyzing the theory root from which harmonious society concept is produced, considering the actual situation in our country, taking leadership at different stages as the representatives, this paper reviews the modern history of the harmonious society concept with Chinese characteristics socialism. Furthermore, this paper clearly puts forward the definition of socially harmonious demonstration area, analyzes the connotation of socially harmonious demonstration area, constructs the indicator system of socially harmonious demonstration area, and describes the expected completion of the indicator system.By inducing and expurgating the experience of leading city building in some domestic advanced regions and harmonious society building in west region, important inspiration is obtained in this paper. After fully learning and mining harmonious society building's theory and practical experience, the core area of urban development in Chongqing, the Yuzhong district, is chosen as the study object. Under the new situation in the new era, this paper analyzes the necessity and feasibility of socially harmonious demonstration area building in Yuzhong district, and for the current problems in the district, this paper conducts an in-depth study at the development strategy of Yuzhong's socially harmonious demonstration area.To construct a harmonious development platform, Yuzhong socially harmonious demonstration area building has six strategic tasks. The first one is to vigorously develop social undertakings and improve public service; the second one is to focus on adjustment of industrial structure and reinforce the economic base; the third one is to strengthen the social management and build the harmonious community; the forth one is to emphasize fairness and justice, and strengthen the democratic rule of law; the fifth one is to promote the "Integrity Yuzhong" and build the honest society; and the sixth one is to start the "Forest Yuzhong" and optimize the natural environment.In order to ensure the implementation of six strategic tasks of socially harmonious demonstration area, according to the previous in-depth analysis, this paper puts forward several following security measures: the first one is to strengthen the role of organizational leadership and form the government-led, multi-sectoral cooperation working mechanism; the second one is to provide capital investment protection and reinforce the funding guarantees of harmonious society building; the third is to promote social work personnel building and provide human resources support; and the forth one is to strengthen supervision, inspection, incentive mechanism, improve the assessment mechanism and assessment methods, and promote the building of a harmonious society.
