A Comparative Study Of Confucian Harmonious Thought And The View Of Marxist Social Harmony

Since ancient times,Chinese people pay great attention to the word “harmony”.Thousands of years later,it becomes one of the indispensable components of traditional Chinese culture.The establishment of a socialist harmonious society is not only reflection and embodiment of the Confucian harmonious thought of Chinese traditional culture,but also further localization of social harmony viewpoint raised by Marxism.Compared with other Western philosophies of social harmony,Marx’s view of social harmony on Humanistic view,natural view and values is much better.Chinese dream is based on Marx’s theory of social harmony and takes it as the theoretical basis of achieving the final goal.The primary premise of social progress,political stability,economic development,scientific and technological innovation is a stable and harmonious social environment.Chinese dream cannot go without construction of harmonious social thought,the building of a harmonious and stable social environment,as well as fully enthusiasm of every Chinese and participation from the whole society.Only in this way could Chinese dream come true.This paper compares the Confucian harmonious thought in ancient China with Marx’s view of harmonious society,uses literature research method,combination of reality and theory method as well as comparison and analysis method to make a in-depth study of harmonious thought,and strives to achieve unity of theory and practice.Taking the similarities and differences of the Confucian harmonious thought and Marx’s view of harmonious society as a breakthrough point,making in-depth analysis of correlation between the two,this paper is aimed at fully revealing modern meaning of harmonious thought.Combined with research methods given above and such a writing background,the paper will go as follows: firstly it elaborates formation of Confucian harmonious thought and its main content;Secondly it studies emergence background of the Marx’s view of harmonious society background and its basic connotation;Thirdly it makes compares between the Confucian harmonious thought and the Marx’s concept of social harmony to find out the differences;Finally it analyzes significance of building a harmonious socialist society by using theConfucian harmonious thought and Marx’s view of harmonious society.China is at the key point of constructing a harmonious socialist society now.We should combine far-reaching ancient Confucian harmonious thought with scientific and rational Marx’s view of harmonious society together,proceeding from multiple levels like human-human level,human-they themselves level,human-nature level,to give the harmonious socialist society with Chinese characteristics a best definition.
