Researches On Deng Xiaoping's Thoughts And Practice In Heading Southwest China

From November 1949 to July 1952, Deng Xiaoping served in the southwest of China as first secretary of the CPC Central Committee Southwest Bureau, Southwest Military and Political Committee Vice-Chairman, Political commissar of the Southwest Military Region, and Southwest Finance and Economics Committee Director. In these two years and eight months time, Deng Xiaoping firmly implemented the Party Central Committee and Mao's line, principles and policies. Under the guide of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and the reality of the southwest, he creatively made the formulation and promulgation of a series of policies, regulations, laws, policies and measures in line with the reality of Southwest, which played a very important role in the liberation of the south-west, the establishment of People's Power, restoration and development of the economy, improvement of cultural construction, stability of the social order and unity of all ethnic groups.
