Shanghai Junior High School English Curriculum Criterion requires students to master a comprehensive reading ability, which includes the apperception of articles and decoding of language. It emphasizes the integrity of various subjects, and focuses on the analysis of articles, the ability of judgment and logical reasoning. It also requires students to improve their reading speed, read more and enlarge their vocabulary.With the impact of the traditional theory of reading, the current English Reading Teaching explains the words one by one, the students face a fragmented sense of words and grammar, learning efficiency is low. Modern schema theory includes the understanding of the words, and the overall perception of the reading, it is the interaction and exchange between readers and writers. This theory of reading teaching mobilizes the initiative of students, improve their English reading level. Looking at the national and international research situation, using the Schema Theory of Reading to guide junior three students with learning difficulties in English reading has currently no related discussions. This thesis aims to lead the author's teaching practice with the help of education theory and psychology theory.
