A Study On Hebei University Postgraduates' Participation In Sports

Along with the increasing of postgraduate students in our country, the higher requirement to graduate students has been set. The good physical quality should be one of the basic conditions for the graduate students, so the College should integrate the sports education into the postgraduate student raising. But the real situation of Hebei University is, the physical quality is worrying, the physical education has not been included to postgraduate students'raising plan.This article utilizes methods of literature material, the interview survey procedure, the questionnaire survey procedure, the mathematical method of average and the logical analytic, conducts the research to postgraduate students'sports activities in Hebei University, describe and analyze present sports situation, at the same time, reveal the factors that affects postgraduate students of Hebei University to participate in the sports activities, propose for the Hebei University postgraduate students'sports development, formulates the science development guidelines and the implementation plan for the postgraduate student Administration Section and the policy-maker, and may also provide the reference for some universities'postgraduate student sports work development that similar with Hebei University.The result of this survey is:1. Compare with the education of other fields, Hebei University postgraduate students'sports education is quite weak.2. Hebei University postgraduate students have a clear understanding of scitific physical exercises. They has the poor concept to National Fitness Program, but can understand "lifetime sports" better, and understand the meaning of health correctly.3. The postgraduate students of Hebei University is positive in the school sports, and the motivation is quite clear; the frequency and the time of exercises of each week is insufficient, the exercise intensity is low; the physical training time concentrates in the evening and night; The choice of physical training content focused on the items that easy to move, the strong entertainment, the obvious fitness effect, moderate exercise; the exercise form is to do sports exercise with friends and schoolmates; and the location follows"the nearby principle"; The postgraduate students'consumption on sports of Hebei University is likely to be the material expense primarily and the low expense tendency; The sports games are mainly watched through media; the proportion and the competition rank are rather low.4. Hebei University postgraduate students have a positive attitude for participating sports activities, and the main form is group game.5. The reason that affects Hebei University postgraduate students not to participate in the sports is various, mainly concentrates in the deficient leisure time, the heavy work, and insufficient sports facilities, and so on.Based on the survey and research, we proposed to the physical education work of Hebei University postgraduate students:1. Take the postgraduate student physical education seriously, enables postgraduate students'sports education standardize and institutionalize.2. Improve the propaganda of sports laws and regulations; strengthen the sports consciousness of postgraduate students.3. Improve the school sports conditions and facilities; enhance the utilization rate of sports venues.4. Strengthen the guidance and management of postgraduate students'sports activities; improve the sports levels and qualities of postgraduate students.5. Develop organized sports activities for postgraduate students regularly, encourage participating in all kinds of sports matches.6. Construct postgraduate students'sports club.7. Foster postgraduate students'correct concept of sports consumption.8. Establish the annual health examination system for postgraduate students.
