The reform of new basic education curriculum has been attracted by the whole society, especially the mathematics curriculum reform. Because of the extensive application of mathematics and a highly generality played in fostering the talent. Therefore, the implementation of curriculum reform, for ten years, the mathematical reasoning of middle school students is critical. This study investigated the level of junior high school students in mathematical reasoning ability, through the analysis of "full-time compulsory education in mathematics curriculum standards (trial version)" in the requirements for the reasoning ability to sum up at the reasoning contained in three areas:mathematical problems conjecture the reasonable inference; proved mathematical proposition that deductive reasoning; exchange of reasoning outside of the language. According to the different grades to set test questions, we study the law of development of students reasoning ability and characteristics, and put forward relevant proposals. In this study, we sort out from the relevant requirements of reasoning, analyze the content and the refinement of reasoning contains several aspects of reasoning ability, and prepare the questionnaire as a basis for design spatial reasoning ability of middle school students to study the test volume.Secondly, we select four from students more than 700 students in seventh grade to ninth grade as sample. By SPSS software for statistical analysis of test results, we obtaine the development of reasoning ability junior high school students law.The reasoning ability of junior high school students is higher and upward with the development of the level of students. The development of the characteristics of reasoning research investigated in four aspects, first is the development of reasoning with significant age difference; the second is the development of reasoning with significant gender differences; the third is reasoning the type of development in the schools with significant differences; The fourth is the development of reasoning in the teaching with significant differences between versions. The innovation of this study is to curriculum standards for the requirements reasoning generalize then refined. In this study, there is some issues involved in further research and study space, while a further extension of this research and development would be very meaningful, We hope this study will need for the teaching of reasoning.
