Application Of Fuzzy Clustering In The Analysis Of Psychological Health Research Among College Students

Based on the system engineering method, using data mining fuzzy clustering method to do detailed analysis and research on the college students' psychological health. Describing the development and application of cluster analysis algorithm, and using distance formula and criterion function which are usually used in fuzzy cluster analysis, and explaining some classic algorithms of fuzzy cluster analysis in detail. By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of fast clustering algorithm and hierarchical fuzzy clustering analysis algorithm, introduce the concept of a two-step clustering algorithm, and then describe the algorithm process of the model and give the Arithmetic flow chart . using the method of fuzzy clustering algorithm to analyse psychological data which are formed by college students' personality questionnaire (UPI), 16 personality factors and other mental health assessment. Establishing data mining model and mining the database. Identify different groups of students and their respective characteristics, research on students psychological health. Summarized relationship among mental health and gender, adaptive capacity and anxiety, introverts and extraverts, emotional and peaceful alertness, cowardly and courageous , in order to facilitate schools to institute appropriate method to prevent mental disorders and create a good healthy atmosphere for students. Result of the study provides reliable basis for the management and cultivation of students.
