Predicament And Countermeasures Of Education Finacing Of Local Colleges And Universities:a Case Study Of X University

As the development of China's economy, the dramatically increasing of people's demand for higher education, the transfering of higher education from the old "elite education" to "mass education", the issue of shortage of higher education funds is more and more serious, and it becomes a bottleneck hindering the development of higher education. Local colleges and universities are the major force in the development of higher education, and they bear the main task of popularizing higher education. But because the investment of higher education is large and the cost is high, the contradiction between the development scale of local colleges and universities and the investment in education is becoming increasingly conspicuous.Although the founds spending on education of local colleges and universities in China has been significantly enhanced comparing to the past in recent years, local colleges and universities are still facing serious shortage of education funds with the development of education, and the development of local higher education is facing great difficulties. Therefore, the study of China's Education finacing of local colleges and universities has a positive and far-reaching significance to ease the financial pressure on local colleges and universities, to promote the development of local colleges and universities.The article is divided into five parts: The first chapter is the introduction which describes the background and the significance of the research, makes an overview of the status quo at home and abroad of the research, clarifies the ideas, methods, main content of the research mainly. Chapter II focuses on the basic theory of financing higher education founds. Chapter III analyzes the Predicament of Education financing of our local colleges and universities, and the reasons resulting in the Predicament of Education financing of our local colleges and universities. Chapter IV is an empirical research of education founds raising of one local university, which analyzes the basic situation, the achievements and shortcomings of education founds raising of this local university. Chapter V explores specific countermeasures to get rid of the predicament of Education financing of local colleges and universities in our country on the basis of the in-depth analysis of the reasons resulting in the predicament of Education finaning of our local colleges and universities and the practices and experiences in raising Education funds of the university.
