Study On School Safe Management In Suzhou

ObjctiveTo investigate the management condition of the school safety for finding out the existent shortage in the management work of the school safety .Methods1,Based on evidence-based medicine analysis of the literatures, the management system of schools emergency events was analysed by using the SWOT matrix. 2,We investigated 137 school physicians defined by Stratified Sampling, using the questionairs that include the inquisition form for the security of primary and secondary school and peripheral environment. 3,We investigated 4600 students by using the questionairs in the safe knowledge of the daily life. All data were analysed by using SPSS13.0 for statistic analysisResults1. There are many problems in the school safety management by evidence-based medicine analysis of the literatures based on SWOT matrix. 2.The results of the survey showed that safety device and rule construction are different for different schools. While, safety rule and training work were worse commonly. 46.4% of the investigated staffs thought that it was the most important problem for safety management that the safety rules were not abided by schools.3. The awareness rate of the safe knowledge of the daily life is better than the disaster knowledge. The awareness rate for the knowledge of electric shock protection, gas poisoning and drowning salvage were the best of all safe knowledge , attaining 24.8%, 24.1% and 20.9% respectively. Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that common school, introverted personality and parents who do not usually tell safe knowledge forwardly were disadvantageous factors, while, female, higher class, higher education background for father, higher total earnings of the family were beneficial factors. For the safe technical ability ,only 29.2% of students reported they could use fire extinguisher correctly.ConclusionThere are many problems in the school safety management The school safety management and the safety education must be strengthened.
