It is difficult for teachers to teach the concept of functions in high school, many teachers or students feel headache about the concept of functions."Ordinary high school mathematics curriculum standards"put forwards new demands and new changes from the aspect of teaching aim, teaching content, learning methods and evaluation manner, etc.It is necessary for educators to think how make a breakthrough in teaching and learning the concept of functions by the requirements of new curriculum standard ideas. This paper gives some conclusions by learning and teaching analising functions concept from three dimensions such as"teaching materials","students","teachers". This paper is based on the theory of pedagogy and psychology by the current reference and by combing the authors learning experience.This paper first proposes some suggestions about how to engage with teaching the concept of functions by analysis the function content between junior high school and high school. This paper analysises from three aspect such as understanding the definition about functions, understanding about the representation of functions and understanding about the proposition of functions. We use the methods of statistical analysis of stage tests by combing with students conversation. Then we get the teaching factors which affect the learning of function concept by analysis teaching design and classroom teaching process. These factors are known as the using of situation problems teaching targets and the understanding of teachers about connotation and extension of the concept, the course of teaching concept and student's participation. At last, this paper put forward several suggestions about teaching the concept of functions under new curriculum standard.
