Today,the survival and development of higher vocational institutions are faceing fierce competition and becomeing more attractive to the students is the focus of competition,and the outstanding quality of teaching quality is the key for improveing the school attractiveness to students,and teachers are the core strength and main force to assume teaching tasks,and to to determine the quality of teaching.So the nature of higher vocational colleges'competition is the quality of the teaching force. Therefore,make a scientific assessment on the work of teachers to find and promote their own inadequacies and continuously improve their quality of teaching has gradually become the focus of their work for managers of the higher vocational colleges,which also has attracted a lot of scholars'theoretical attention.Based on some overviews of former studies and statistical analysis of original assessment data, this study analyzed a theoretical hypothesis. More than six hundred students and three hundred teachers of Xiehe Vocational and Technical College accepted investigation by way of questionnaire or interview.This study drew its conclusions by analysis of survey data. Finally, according to the results of conclusions of this article combined with previous research achievements of other sholars,this study puts forward seven optimizing countermeasures to the performance assessment system of Xiehe Vocational and Technical College.The main results are: (1) Statistical analysis of survey data indicates that the questionnaires of this artile have good reliability and validity.(2) Teacher performance appraisal system of Xiehe Vocational and Technical College has mainly six issues,such as the main purpose of teacher performance appraisal was not sufficiently clear and specific,and test scores are high and concentrative and so on.(3) This papermakes recommendations in seven ways,such as optimizing Countermeasures for assessment cycle,for examination tables,and so on.
