The Spirit Of Red Earth In Western Fujian And The Construction Of Ideological And Political Education Of College Students

The great struggle has created a great spirit. represented by Mao Zedong, Chinese communists in the Red Earth of western Fujian have struggled revolutionarily for twenty-three years and have created a miracle in the history of the Chinese revolution, nurturing, forming a spirit of Red Earth in western Fujian. "Opinions on Further Strengthening and Improving Ideological and Political Education for College Students," given by CPC Central Committee and State Council, pointed out that efforts should be made to explore the new ways under new situation.for ideological and political education and to make ideological and political education to the times, the law, rich creativity, and the timeliness. Mining the profound meaning of the spirit of Red Earth in western Fujian, exploring new ways and new methods of ideological and political education for college students are requirements of innovation for ideological and political education.This paper is divided into three parts. The paper Firstly mines the connotation of Red Earth spirit in western Fujian, and then put forward the valure of times of Red Earth education based on grasping new situation and new problems in the process of the ideological and political education for college students, finally, gives a proposal of building an ideological and political education systeman for college students based on the background of Red Earth after in-depth rational thinking. Methods in the study:First, the use of investigation and research methods is to realize and grasp the general nature and tendentious ideological and psychological characteristics. Second is to use inductive and deductive approach, putting forward the spirit of the connotation of Red Earth in western Fujian. Third, the use of comparative analysis, based on analysis of the importance of carrying out the education of Red Earth spirit, then presents a proposal of building the ideological and political education system for college students in the context of of Red Earth spirit.
