The Research Of Status And Development For Universities' Key Disciplines Construction In Henan Province

As the basic subjects of academic unit in university, discipline has three function : teaching students, researching and servicing to the community. University Discipline is the basis for the survival and development of university, also is the eternal theme of college construction. The key disciplines are the most important in subject construction. The advantages of university's characteristics, competitiveness and academic reputation, were reflected through the level of construction of key disciplines .With the popularization of higher education, as well as the deepening of reform of higher education, scholars research more about subject building, but mostly is theoretical analysis or experience, this paper will combine the two, based on the status of subject construction with higher education in Henan province, according to the analysis of relevant basic theory and situation analysis, find out the problems and causes, and then propose a strategy for solution.This article is divided into four parts. Specific ideas as follows, Part I: Introduction, describes the background of this study, significance, current domestic and international research about the status of key disciplines and major research methods. Part II: introduces the relevant definition, analyses the contents of key disciplines and the theoretical significance, researching the characteristics of key disciplines, the basic conditions, influencing factors and tasks carried out. Part III: analyze the situation about the key disciplines of universities in Henan Province, find out the problem and have attribution analysis. Part IV: Provide the strategy for development and promoting the key of University in our province, put forward the author's views and perspectives by my own.
